These special T-shirts were only made in 300 numbers.
Artist Tolli was born in Reykjavik in 1953 and emerged as one of the instigators of the New Painting in the early 1980s. He has enlighted the art scene, sometimes with his fresh and bold strokes and raw power spurred by nature and delivers powerful, yet suave images of Iceland. Sometimes with poetic insight.
Þorlákur Kristinsson or Tolli is mostly known for his exceptional landscape paintings and for them he has gained great respect all over the world. Though he is prepared to paint this T-shirt so that 300 people can enjoy his art for small 50 $.
Every T-shirt is unique, signed by Tolli him self and marked with number from 1 to 300.(Source: reykjavikcornerstore.com)
